American Lyceum International School is a Cambridge international school and nursery in Muscat, Oman, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Oman. It is part of the Lyceum Group of Schools. We run a nursery for children from 6 months to 3 years, and a school from Kindergarten to Grade 5, across three campuses in Al Azaiba and Al Ghubrah.

School fees are published by grade. The annual fee is 1,600 OMR for KG1, 1,750 OMR for KG2, 2,000 OMR for Grades 1 and 2, and 2,100 OMR for Grades 3 and 4, with a one-off registration fee of 125 OMR. Nursery rates are 5 OMR per hour, 12 OMR per day, 60 OMR per week or 200 OMR per month, based on nine hours a day, with a 100 OMR registration fee. Admission is granted on a first come, first served basis, and age restrictions are strictly observed. Whether a particular grade has room at a particular branch changes through the year, so the quickest way to find out is to ask us. Gladly. Our nursery takes children from 6 months to 3 years across daycare, nursery and pre-school. Our school runs Kindergarten to Grade 5 on the Cambridge Curriculum. The best way to understand either is to walk through the doors: book a visit and we will show you around and answer everything in person.

Our school follows the Cambridge Curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 5, taught through Whole Brain Teaching, also called Power Teaching, and paired with the Leader in Me programme for character and leadership. Our nursery blends Montessori with the Early Years Foundation Stage, so the youngest children learn through purposeful play before they reach Kindergarten. The school operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Oman.
